- The expansion body is very compact, and is "double
skinned" in 10/10 mm steel. There is a highly efficient
silencer, with an inner lining of rock wool, which is also used
inside the silencer body to prevent resonance. The result is a
completely "city-friendly" sound, and a slight
increase in performance, which complies perfectly with the EEC
standard.
Specs |
The Navigator KAT system is an evolution
of the cone-reverse-cone expansion concept: specific designs
involving shapes, volumes and materials. The inner structure is
made entirely from stainless steel and is produced
specially for each engine, so as to provide the same performance
and silencing as non-catalytic versions.
Specs -
The silencer body has an alloy heat shield, into which
numerous slots have been cut to improve the dispersion of heat
from the catalytic converter, which is of the metallic type. |
The name says it
all: a product developed specially to improve engine
performance at low and mid-range speeds, so favoring
hill-climbing and acceleration, with a considerable increase of
torque levels, without any special vehicle tuning.
Specs - From the technical point of view, the Sprinter product
is a further evolution of the expansion concept, once restricted
to the "illegal" exhaust sector and which LeoVinci
brought into line with the Highway Code some time ago. Built
entirely by hand, the main body is made from steel and, as is
the LeoVinci rule, has an inner structure “tuned” to suit
the features of the engine to which it is destined.
The outside is painted black, and comes complete with an
attractive molded heat shield. The cylindrical can is made
entirely from stainless steel, brushed externally to give it an
attractive finish. Its downward slope gives the product a
fighting touch: a warning of what’s to come when... the light
turns green |

The Touring
line is one of the most complete ranges ever created for the
scooter sector. It suits models with engines from 50 to 250
cc both two and four-stroke. All this comes in a
futuristically designed external body, with a molded heat shield
common to all versions in the range.
Specs - The general
technical arrangement provides performance and silence. The
silencer body and header pipe are made from MIG-welded 10/10 mm
steel and finished with heat-resistant electrostatic paint. It
has a conical expansion chamber which incorporates the silencer,
calibrated to suit each engine; accordingly, different bodies
are used for 2 and 4-stroke engines. To improve the
soundproofing effect there is an inner lining of bonded ceramic fiber.
The result is a noise level which is sometimes even lower than
that of OE systems |
The price is attractive, and "Hand Made"
performance is the main feature of the RS line. This is achieved
thanks to experience gained by LeoVinci in two
directions: on one hand, the quest for top performance levels
via advanced methods of R & D, and on the other, adherence
to traditional methods of production. This is common to all LeoVinci
exhausts, as is the careful use of traditional materials,
suitably treated and processed to guarantee maximum performance.
Specs - The RS line is a blend of this experience. It has the
traditional Hand Made lay-out, with a large cone-reverse-cone
expansion chamber, and a specially developed can. The materials
and processes have changed. The expansion chamber is still made
from 10/10 mm steel but is now welded traditionally. The aluminum
can has a matt black outer finish but the two
end-plates are left as machined for a "fighting"
effect which matches that of the clear varnish chosen for the
expansion chamber. |
A range of
e-marked high performance scooter exhausts. This is the Hand
Made ZX, which, with its pugnacious character and hand-built
construction, looks every inch a racing product.
Specs - Just
like a race exhaust, it requires perfect tuning of the vehicle
to perform at its best. This involves the replacement of the
transmission springs and rollers, which are supplied by LeoVinci
with the system. This enables very high levels of performance to
be achieved, the result of our meticulous design, which gives
maximum gas flow, while restricting the noise level to the legal
limit.
The system is composed of an expansion chamber and a can. The
expansion chamber is made from 10/10 mm special steel and has an
"open" lay-out with a double chamber, a cavity lined
with soundproofing material, and a straight through exhaust
silencer. The lay-out of the expansion chamber determines the
length of the tail pipe to provide optimum gas flow and adequate
sound absorption. This has led to the design of an exhaust with
a special inner structure in stainless steel, and an outer
coating of carbon and Kevlar. It is mounted high
and gives an extra touch of sporty "wickedness", which
is already suggested by the clear varnish on the expansion
chamber, which shows off the welding to perfection.
